Music
The fledgling, yet growing movement of Azerbaijani music in Iran has acquired over 25 to 30 million listeners. Just a few years ago women weren't even allowed to perform on stage at all, and now women can be seen, revealed and glamorized in music videos, dancing and creating culture in another art of music. This new era of music created large audiences and picked up popularity once the border opened when Azerbaijani gained independence in 1991. Since then, Araz Groups consisted of both folk and modern versions of Azerbaijani music. Audiences started becoming interested in new pop songs released in Baku. However because of different culture tastes, music content consisted of history, heroes, and culture. Songs of love are never heard of,in fact, women names were replaced with words such as "flower" in order to avoid upsetting different demographics in the audience. The youthful generation never listens to music where their roots are from, and like the U.S., are attracted to rap, rock, techno, and other modern rhythms.
Film
Iran and the U.S. have strong relations pertaining to film, based on the overwhelming appeal and universal demand for entertainment. However, before Iran distributes the movies they import from America, they go through a filtration system which absorbs useful aspects of other external cultures that are frequently imposed. The whole concept of film was changed in fear of censorship restrictions placed on audiences because of cultural tastes. Where the U.S. is focused on entertainment and stage productions, Iran is more focused on entertainment on political, economical, historical and cultural beliefs in hopes of maintaining an educated and poised audience in the industry. Iranian government even keeps prices low so all segments of the population at any economic level can have access to this recreation. The emerging of audiences in the film industry was based on the 1972 Tehran International Film Festival that promoted the art of Cinema and its humanitarian values that portrayed the understanding of ideas between nations.

Theater
Iranian theater is very popular amongst its audience, pertaining to rituals and traditions. The audience is the main priority in theater management, and solely based off of the emotional and spiritual connections with the audience, removing any factors of time that might interfere with the ultimate message. The theme of play is to involve the audience on stage in its actions that allow emotions of humor and mourning to be unified and excepted. Classical music is the only genre present for listener-ship at theaters in Iran. Although cinema communications are very prevalent between Iran and America, the theater company has a much more difficult time entering different a spectrum. It is not easy for Iran's theater components to enter in America, not because of terrorism threats, but because immigration authorities are afraid performers will stay for economic reasons.
Financial status in Iran is not of great importance, but social status is. Performers rely mainly on treatment and immediate attention to personal needs such as pillows, refreshments and food. There is roughly 300,000 to 400,000 Iran people in the community of Los Angeles that focus on attitudes toward music, dance, and performances.
